But Who Is the Horse and Who Is the Carriage?

By

First off, happy new year of the Rat!  To the ratsies in the audience: you are wonderful and crafty and clever.  Don’t get down on being rodents, okay?

______

Super Tuesday, super tornado, and super everything.  Watching the news this morning, the CNN anchor actually whined about there being too much news to cover.  It is then, kind of a tight spot you’ve put yourself in, as an all-new channel anchorman, is it not?

And dear people in Tennessee: I am so very sorry.

______

I’m not sure if four years is a lot or a little.

It’s a little if we’re talking about a person, or a company, or a stone.

It’s a lot if you feel like the sunny Saturday wherein you said your "I do"s seems like it never really happened; or alternately, like it happened to another person in a parallel universe and you yourself have never really known the difference between being married and not being married.

As if someone had made up a story just for you, when you look at the pictures and realize that, in fact, there was a life before this one.  One you can’t quite remember unless you talk to people from the past.

Happy anniversary to me.  To us.  And I would like a Kitchen Aid mixer encrusted with amethysts.

More later, I promise.

A friend told me once that if you can’t tell the difference between being married and not, you either have a spectacular marraige or a non-existant one. I’m willing to bet on the former. ๐Ÿ™‚ Congrats!
