First off, a big thank you to those of you who wrote such nice comments on my last entry. A cardinal rule of blogging should be, "Thou shalt not blog in anger or exhaustion." But clearly, cardinal rules of blogging have not been written. Yet.
This is a quick post because this Flickr group on the contents of people's bags and backpacks really moved me. It's called simply, "What's in your bag?" If you haven't seen it, I strongly suggest you do. I find it fascinating to see people reduced to what they carry around. Some of the pictures are very simple, but they are all compelling in their own way. What would we be without all those contents and all that static life we carry with us?
Would our lives be better or worse without the baggage?
