Three Hundred and Sixty-One to Go

Gutter Lace (Day four), originally uploaded by Madame Meow.

Hello, everyone, and welcome to my first post of 2010!

Incidentally, I'm still getting used to typing 2010. It's a little odd, and my fingers still want to place two zeroes side by side. How weird to think that the decade is, at least numerically, over, right?

Anyway, this is just a little intro to my year of pictures. I am trying to broaden my view of things and even though I have all the stick-to-it-iveness of a slug drinking a Margarita, I thought it would be fun to try to take a picture every day.

I've made it to day four. I am impressed with myself.

How about you out there? Any resolutions or exhilarating new plans? I would love to hear from you!

Much love, blogworld.

  1. I love the ice photo. It’s gorgeous! I like your title for it, too.
I have no resolutions, beyond the vague perennial ones I have to be more organized, less cluttered, more productive…
I guess I haven’t typed 2010 yet much, myself. 2010. Hmmm. I see what you mean.

  2. That would be a margarita without a salt rim, of course, right?
I am going by month, not by year for my goals. So far I hope to get the end of the January NaBloPoMo. If I don’t, I don’t think it will be from lack of trying. 🙂

  3. The photo is fantastic! Your photography is getting really good, my dear! 🙂
Resolutions? Who even had time to THINK about resolutions, let alone make them…

  4. I love the idea of looking at life through the lens of a camera. It does offer such a unique perspective somehow, shedding a different light on the subject. Happy photographing to you this year!
